Elston Documents Archive – Description

The aims of the Documents Archive are:

1. To maintain a database of documents and artefacts, including their owner, location, summary of content, and historical value for the use of researchers and authors and for possible use at exhibitions;

2. To accept and hold, on behalf of the Project any gifts or purchases of such material;

3. To make and keep copies of relevant material , including  collections of parish magazines and newspaper articles;

4. To maintain and control the content of the physical repository of archive papers, display material, exhibition boards, etc.
